We all have the power to shine.

What separates the ones that succeed from the rest is hard work and a constant reminder of the goal at hand. The hard work is something no one can do instead of you. In the same time no easily obtained goal is an achievement that we value.
The soundboard for debate and drive to keep pushing further is what I can offer. My role as a mentor for your project is focused on maintain the eyes on the final goal – you succeeding in obtaining the certification.

My involvement can come at 2 different stages:

1st time submission:

• Minimum 3 sessions throughout the project time
• Feedback on the draft of the project at several stages depending on your work style
• Session to present your results
• Signoff on your project based on OBU requirements


• Assess what went wrong
• Analyse together the Examiner’s feedback
• Identify the areas for improvement
• Feedback on the draft of RAP or SLS depending on what needs to be resubmitted
• Signoff on your project based on OBU requirements

I strongly believe that for mentoring to work and produce positive results, there has to be the right match between mentee and mentor. This is why at the basis of my mentoring approach is to start with a discovery call. I want to make sure that I’m the right person to guide you through the journey. In this way, I can be there cheering and helping you find the path.
The purpose of this call is to determine if we should move on to setting up a mentoring agreement.

Below is the sequence of steps from the first call to final sign-off so that you can better understand what follows.

Based on my experience, each student has it’s individual working style that best suits him to successfully complete the research. This is a component that we need to integrate in formulating the best way to communicate and the frequency of communication.

If you feel better to submit smaller sections of your work for discussion or if are more comfortable with take your time and preparing a full first draft and then have a meeting, then this should be included it in the planning section.
